I discovered The Gene Keys in 2024. My friend Suzie and her sister Judy visited us in Mt Shasta on their way south from Canada to Palm Desert. Judy asked my husband and I if we had heard of The Gene Keys. We had not. And to be honest, it didn’t spark any interest for me.

A few months later, I did an exchange with another body code practitioner. But she had a surprise for me. Instead of doing releases, she introduced me to The Gene Keys.

She told me that my core wound is rejection. I was listening.

She continued to give a brief description of the main Gene Keys that influences my life.

I bought the book and let the knowledge in.

Some of the information about my chart struck me. For instance, I was born under the physical experience (age 0-7) of Gene Keys 37 which is Family Alchemy. It comes with the shadow of Weakness, the gift of Equality and the siddhi of Tenderness. This has been my path, to allow tenderness inside and to let it flow from me.

As well, the emotional influences during the years 8-14 centres around Gene Keys 47 – Transmuting the Past, which is about genetic memory carried in our blood. This brings the shadow of Oppression, the gift of Transmutation and the siddhi of Transfiguration. This is about ancestral trauma. This transmutation is the work of alchemists … to move deeply into suffering, embrace every feeling and event that comes to you. It is the work of the shaman and the way of surrender.

I have Gene Key 47 in another area of my life. It all makes sense. I know my work on this planet is not light nor is it easy. I have it within my DNA to meet the dangers and become truly alive through Alchemy – the Royal Art.

This is some of what makes up “me” and the work I am here to do. I am so grateful to help others, to open their hearts, with grace, and a spirit of adventure and discover who they really are.
